Casa La Mimbre is a wonderful modern villa situated just outside the village of La Joya, just 10 minutes from the Hotel La Posada del Torcal. From the house you can walk into the village in a couple of minutes. there is a bar, bank, bakery and shops. The villa enjoys lovely views towards the rock formations of the " El Torcal National Park " It has an impressive terraced area and swimming pool, surrounded by olive and fruit trees.

You enter the house on the upper level (up a flight of stairs). The front door opens into a large, light open plan dining room/salon with a n open fireplace. The hallway leads to a fully fitted kitchen (newly installed in 2004) and a utility room. From the hallway are the three bedrooms, a double and two twins. There are two bathrooms, one of which has a hydro-massage bath!!!

The house has its own gated entrance off the main La Joya/Antequera road (it is in fact a country lane!!). There is a spacious terrace in the front of the house by the pool - ideal for that barbecue on a balmy evening. The house is furnished to a high standard. It has full central heating and is therefore a wonderful house for winter letting. Casa La Mimbre is a perfect holiday home for families or groups of friends. Its location means that it is a 15 minute drive to the old Roman town of Antequera. Malaga airport is just a 45 minute drive away.
